Hi All, I have some sad news. I am not going to be playing WoW for a while. I’ve got some real life stuff happening (I haven’t even loged in since Wed) and I just don’t have time or energy to play right now. I plan on comming back to it some day, and I hope you guys will forgive my absence for a while.

Hello everyone, this is Galadria’s Immune System here on her behalf. She’s been attacked by a new raid boss commonly known as “Sinus Infection.” We’re here to tell you about this new boss should you ever be attacked by it. “Sinus Infection” is a world boss and is not associated with any specific instance. It travels around and when it encounters a new victim spawns a duplicate of its self to attack the new person.
This boss’ abilities are many and varied and can induce the following debuffs on it’s victim:
There are several methods of attacking this boss, we will enumerate the methods Galadria has employed to assist us.
We have the Sinus Infection down to about 30% health but Galadria’s still not up to posting. Next week should return to your regularly scheduled programing.

I’m at a loss for words on this one. I don’t live in Canada but I do have readers in Canada and if this goes through (I’ll be astouonded if it does) they won’t be able to access my site because it’s not Canadian. See aparently the Internet should be a national thing. Each country needs their own little WORLD WIDE WEB!
Anyone laughing as hard as I am? Does anyone seriously think that the internet needs this much regulation? Charging ISP’s to access creative content is just plain crazy talk. I can just hear it now… “Sorry dude, I can’t go look at your site because my ISP doesn’t pay for that one”
Anyone who lives in the Austin area will be familiar with this. LIN TV, who owns the local chanel KXAN (who is our NBC affiliate by the way), wanted to charge additional fees back in October and Time Warner (who I would guess has about 70% of the market share around here) refused to pay the higher costs. Whether the higher rates are reasonable or not is debatable and depends on who you ask, that’s another story though. Time Warner droped KXAN from their lineup for about a month while ironing out details. Everyone who subscribes to cable with Time Warner was without programing because the big wigs couldn’t get their act together.
Do we really need more of that crap in our lives? Do we really need more bureaucracy? If you live in Canada you should consider making your voice heard on this subject. Someone posted down in the comments of that forum post where to get more info. We as internet users need to call bullsh!t on this one.
OK, my post detailing the Chef title is turning out to be biger than I thought. You probably won’t get it tomorrow, you’ll probably get the Northrend Gourmet post tomorrow, and maybe the Chef post later this week.
I’m working on the Lunar Fest stuff right now and I’m thinking I should have waited to do the Explorer stuff until now as I’m all over the map again. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20.
My guild got Mally down this weekend and I wasn’t there 😦 I’m a little bummed but I was having some girl time which is more important! We’re going to try Sarth +1 this week. I’ve really been looking forward to trying this.

I see comments about how DS doesn’t stack with any other raid buff thrown around a lot, here most recently. I want to clarify a small point.
Improved Divine Spirit doesn’t stack with any other spellpower increasing buff.
Non-Improved Divine Spirit is the best Spirit buff in game.
The moral of the story? Blizz basically made Imp DS a talent that is only reasonable to take for soloing or 5-mans without certian classes. It is no longer a raid talent unless you run regularly with a very strange raid make up. However, take the 2 points out of Imp DS and put them somewhere else, all of your Priests, Druids, and Warlocks have the best Spirit buff in game.
If I understand the mechanics correctly, even if you have the Imp DS buff the Spirit part of it remains active even if the spellpower part is overwritten… but why waste the 2 points?
In conclusion: Please don’t take away my Disc Priest justs because you don’t think I need a Spirit buff.
Sorry guys. I’ve had this “Post every Tuesday” thing going for, what… 2 weeks? I have my post for this week almost finished but a friend of mine is in the hospital and I’ve been there the last 2 evenings and not able to finish my post. It’s a guide to the Chef title, which isn’t currently attainable, but I hear rumors of patch today so it may be fixed! I should be able to finish tonight and have it for you guys late tonight or in the morning tomorow… assuming I don’t fall asleep while driving home tonight!
I’ve got a post comming on Tuesday the details the parts of the Hail to the Chef Achievement, just like the fishing one I did last week. Since the Outland Gorumet of the Achievment is so large, I moved it to it’s own post.

(Note: Mok’Nathal Short Ribs, Crunchy Serpent, Roasted Clefthoof, and Warp Burgers are left out as you will already have cooked them if you’ve done the Shattrath Dailies and if you have all of the recipes you will most certianly have done the Shattrath Dailies)

On a serious note, it’s good advice! I get the Writers Blah’s quite often and the best remedy is to keep writing!
You may or may not have noticed that I changed the theme around here. I did so for 2 reasons. I wanted to have the tagline displayed and wanted to be able to add a custom header image. The tagline is up there but I’m not liking the screenshots I’m taking for the header image, they just don’t look right. I’m woefully ignorant on graphics design-y type stuff and have no software to even attempt to teach myself anything (I currently use MS Paint to edit all of the photos that go onto the blog).
I’m looking for someone to design a header for me, I’m willing to give you some kind of compensation (possibly trade services?) for your time and energy. I’m looking for a header with something “Wrath”-y in the background (I like Howling Fjord or maybe Wyrmrest Temple) and my toon off to one side. Hopefully also in colors that will match the theme here, but I chose neutral colors specifically for that purpose. I just don’t have the time to do this for myself.
